Words are no longer green?

I'm trying to sort through all the forum topics that talk about progress and their vocab lists, but I don't think they completely address my question, so here it goes:

I study almost exclusively from one big list that is divided into sections based on my textbook chapters. I've studied 15 of the 23 chapters and thought they were all complete. But just recently (maybe with the latest queue changes?) my completion percent dropped to 20% and some simple words like 你,一,二,有 don't have a green dot next to them like I've never studied them. What should I make of this?

And also, Skritter is great. You guys do an excellent job.

So it looks like you hit "Change Study Settings" on the list page and set yourself to Chapter 15. In the new system, this is accomplished by skipping Chapters 1-14, deactivating all the items which you had added solely from those chapters. There's a tiny little note there that suggests this will happen, but it's not nearly enough, causing much confusion.

We're working on changing the note to be more noticeable, and perhaps changing the way that it works depending on how much confusion there is once it's explained properly. In the meantime, you should set yourself to add from Chapter 1, then go to the study page and try to add a word from it, at which point Skritter will go back and reactivate everything (slowly).

Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks! It's working properly. Now that you mention the note, I do remember it, but I also remember not quite understanding what it meant for my list. Anyways, thanks again.
