Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

A warning if you're on Mac/Chrome

If you're running on Mac and yours is running Skritter well, you might not want to update it. I just did just that, and the speed on Skritter plummeted. With no luck searching for older versions (and older Chromiums not being much better) I had to dig my backup hard drive out to revert...

Now back at 4.0.249.30 and happy!

Mines on 5.x and says it is latest, and it works ok. Strange. OS/X 10.6

I've found that SWware Iron's version of chronium (basically sans reporting to google stuff) is on the 4.0 engine. Try downloading it - I'll be interested to see if you find it faster...
