Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Its great!

There might be a glitch, where the pop-up does not fade but leave a blank bar, it happened once or twice, but could not say for sure when it happens. Will let you know.

Yes, it also left a small white bar on the screen for me. But otherwise I like it!

Awesome, glad it's working well for you guys!

I've tweaked the system to notify me when this happens so I can figure out what the source of this bug is. I'll get it fixed soon. A couple other rare bugs cropped up as the whole of Skritter started using it, but soon it will be completely stable.

I think it fades, then later reappears as a blank bar due to some mouseoer near the top?

Ah thanks for the report wispfrog, that helped me reproduce it easily! I've uploaded a fix; let me know if you guys see any more empty white bars.
