Yellowbridge lookup

I really like the ability to look up a word/character on Yellowbridge. I study traditional characters, but whenever I click on the Yellowbridge link it always brings me to the simplified page first. It would be nice if it always brought me to the Yellowbridge page for the traditional character first. Thanks.

I don't think this is a problem with Skritter. I think the setting for whether to display traditional or simplified is cached in browser based on you whether you viewed simplified or traditional last. Perhaps your browser settings aren't allowing this to happen?

There may be a browser setting that might change this, but I don't know how to change that (I'm using Safari). In any case, there appears to be an option of specifying the mode in the URL. For example:

http://www.yellowbridge.com/chinese/wordsearch.php?searchMode=I&dialect=M&word=10280

appears to not specify the mode, but

http://www.yellowbridge.com/chinese/wordsearch.php?searchMode=I&characterMode=t&dialect=M&switchMode=1&word=10280

specifies traditional characters, whereas

http://www.yellowbridge.com/chinese/wordsearch.php?searchMode=I&characterMode=s&dialect=M&switchMode=1&word=10280

specifies simplified characters. I would be happy to adjust any browser settings necessary, but perhaps it would be easier for other users too if Skritter could automatically send my browser the URL based on the (Skritter) mode I'm in.

Got it--it'll go live with the next update, tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for doing all the research! :)

I had the same problem thanks @ Skeleton for mentioning it and the rest of you taking the time to comment/fix it :)
