bug? study list complete, but not all studied

Kai Carver   May 9th, 2011 5:44a.m.

Skritter says my HSK 1 list is 100% complete...:
http://screencast.com/t/zIvzRTKCW

... but Skritter shows I haven't studied two words in the list, 個 and 漢語:
http://screencast.com/t/MRlE94J5ZP
http://screencast.com/t/am8ub6Iy

I guess I could add them by hand, but it's strange to me that Skritter says my list is 100% complete (100.0%, even :-)). Does that mean those two words are somewhere in my queue, and will show up eventually? Or have they dropped by the wayside?

PS: If I export all my words, the two missing words are not in my list, so it looks like they are really missing.

PPS: I see the characters 漢 and 語 are in my queue:
http://screencast.com/t/5pcYGbMv
(I just figured out I could look at my queue).
They may be because I added the word by hand, then immediately un-added it to report the bug.
In any case 個 is still missing, as is the word 漢語.

They got dropped by the wayside--probably a slight glitch in the word adding process. Scott's working now on an overhaul of the way words and sections in lists are tracked that will solve those issues in the future. It's going to be sweet! It'll also be much smarter about counting list completion percentages; right now it's just going by furthest section completed, but when it's ready it'll go by number of words added.

So yeah: things will get better!

Slightly off topic, I don't wanna make a new thread about this issue that's probably been raised before:

I was adding new words to section Random1 in a list, but it already stated 'Done: 11.5.11'. Now it's not adding the new words anymore to the system.. Uhm, does this mean that once I start studying a section and it's completed, I cannot add words to that section anymore?

Couldn't find the answer in 'Help',
thanks!

Sure you can. First edit the section, then to study it again, you have to press study options on the top right of the list page, and choose which sections you want to study from. Something like that.

Thanks! 'change study settings' in the list, think I did that before but seems it's working now.
