Study area freezing

jhaz   May 9th, 2011 9:54a.m.

Hi there... I post a lot. <_<;

So my latest question is about the study area freezing up. It seems to start happening when I run out of words due for review.

The writing area will be blank and the right-side area which usually has info on the character will also be blank, but a little circle (looks kind of like the cursor) will be stuck on that side.

I tried it in IE9, Firefox 4, and Google Chrome 11, and it happens in each browser.

Is it just me? How can I fix it? Thanks!

Ah, I need your help! Please do two things:

1) Install the debug Flash player (plugin content debugger) from here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

2) When you next see the issue, if you see a Flash error, let me know its contents. If not, please check your browser error console. (In Chrome, it's Ctrl+Shift+J).

Hope to get this fixed for you soon!

EDIT: I actually installed the IE version of the debugger rather than the Firefox version. I'm gonna do this again but leave the below errors in case they're useful.

When I get home later I will make sure I installed the Flash debugger add-on properly. It hadn't occurred to me but maybe I'm just having an issue with Flash. (Edit: Deleted the thing about Fraps -- that was a DirectX issue. <_<)

Interesting error. I've added some code to further home in on this, so I should know a little more about what's going on next time it happens (as well as hopefully stopping you from seeing the error, although not sure about that.)

Thanks for installing the debug player!
