Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

Nintendo 3DS flash support ?

阿軒   March 28th, 2011 12:12a.m.

Hi all, I doubt this has already been asked since the new 3DS just came out today, does anyone know if skritter works on the new netfront browser?

I've never owned a DS and if I can use skritter on the new 3DS, I will definitely buy it !!

But, tap all you want and you won't get a bit of WWW, just a message that the browser will be enabled in a later software update.

Flash support unclear, if so later.

The screen resolution might be too low:
"Up above them is the new three-inch touchscreen, resolution boosted to 320 x 240"
Skritter would probably have to support the touch screen plus the bigger 3D screen above (also just 400*240) for the display of the rest webpage, I have some doubts this will make sense for a presumably small population of devices.

Rgds,
Alex

320 x 240 + 400 x 240? I guess the market for this might be huge, so if it does end up getting Flash and a usable browser, then maybe we'll try to do something for it, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

It would be pretty cool for it to come full circle like that, given Skritter's origin story.

I find it very unlikely that flash will work on the DS. Even though it probably would be a quite nice front-end for third-party developers for the DS.

I would personally love to see a homebrew skritter application for the DS.

yeah, do it, do it!

I own a 3DS and would be glad to practise Skritter with my stylus ;)
