I'd like to find a good definition for this phrase: 招人喜欢, but it's not in any dictionaries I've found.

The phrase comes from this dialogue:

小张的女朋友你见过吗？
见过，不高不矮，不胖不瘦，很招人喜欢。

The phrase comes up in Baidu ... I'm guessing "well-liked" or "popular"? Anyone know for sure, or even better, can you point me to an online dictionary that has this?

it translates as charming; attractice; delightful.

I'll second that recommendation for Zhongwen for Chrome. It also integrates with Skritter (hit S while looking at a definition).

For what it's worth, I get the same definition from the Perapera-kun add-on for Firefox, and also from MDBG. I imagine they all come from the CC-dict.

Likeable is a good translation. 虽说他不那么招人喜欢，但也不招人讨厌. While this could be translated as 'although he doesn't make people like him...', more natural is 'although he isn't very likeable'...

You can also more formally use 令. Eg 他真令人讨厌
