How to delete a list?

ttatummm   September 17th, 2012 3:37p.m.

Ok, I found where I can delete a list. Isn't that the way it is, you look and look and as soon as you ask someone, you find the answer yourself. But if there is a way to delete a word I would like to know how.

----------------- found answer------------------------------
How do I remove a custom (made by me) list? I accidentally hit the Remix Button and can't figure out how to delete the new list it made.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Also is there a way to delete a word from a custom list? What I want to do is not ban a word but remove it from a list.

Thanks

When you're editing the section of the list that contains that word, you just delete its row to remove it from the list. If it's not in any of your other lists, this will also remove the word from My Words.

I'm brand new to Skritter and I'm still getting oriented. I've come across the term section several times when reading forum posts. But, I'm not sure what it is referring to.

If I go to:

vocab lists>user made lists>made by me>the list I want to edit

I can click on the contents tab and see the words in the list. I can't click on and delete a row here. Is there some place else I should be.

If it's a multi-section list, then in "Contents", you can press the pencil next to each section to edit it, or go into the section and press "Edit This Section" at the top right.

if it's a single-section list, then you should be able to activate editing mode directly from the Contents tab.

Thank you I was being completely dense, somehow I missed the the great big "Edit This List" button on the contents tab. Maybe I've been studying too much.

Not only is Skritter the best thing ever for studying Mandarin, the iOS app makes it so easy and fun to study anywhere, but you guys provide fantastic customer support.

I'll refrain from asking any more questions till my faculties return.

Glad you found it--the interface can be frustrating complicated sometimes, I know!
