Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Have been using this option for a two days now. What a difference it makes not being hinted early ; now I know how to write a character or I don't. Just love it ! Thanks

I've just started using the raw squigs and it makes a big difference! Before I could 'cheat' by trying a few strokes until I got prompted (perfect for a beginner btw), but now I feel as though I'm really writing the characters, not playing a game :)
