pinyin for 蹄膀

marleendemol   May 30th, 2011 9:43p.m.

蹄膀 is the Shanghai word for upper leg of pork.

I find different pinyin spellings for it; ti2pang5, ti2pang3; ti2bang3...

Does anyone know what correct pinyin is?

Thanks,

据我所知而根据zdic.net是tí bǎng。膀(bǎng)的意思就是胳膊的上部靠肩的部分。

DaXia, thank you; i will go with bang3. It is just that my teacher and my ayi told me it is pang. Also Pleco uses ti2pang5. But the other English/Chinese dictionaries i checked list it as ti2bang3 and meaningwise this makes more sense.
Thanks again for your feedback.
