Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Character added notification

So it's not uncommon for me to go through about 50-100 characters in a day (I'm still just reviewing what I already know), and the character added pop down always interferes when I'm trying to actually write my characters. Is there a way to stop this?

Hmm; do you mean that it interferes because it's distracting, or that it actually gets in the way when you're writing?

There isn't a way to stop it right now; we haven't heard complaints about it before. I'd rather not add a preference for it, either. Can you suggest a way that might make it less distracting for you?
