modern chinese poetry

Hi all,

can you recommend a good source of MODERN chinese poetry in modern spoken language. Something beautiful, celebrated, not too hard to understand. Thanks in advance!

Now, here is the why (besides love for art :)

while learning other languages long ago, I've noticed that learning poetry "by heart" is an immemse tool to keep foregn words and expressions in memory for years. 15 years passed since I read "Lorelei" piece of poetry (Ich weiss nicht wass soll es bedeuten, Dass ich so traurig bin...)
and it is still around here.

Probably it is just my thing - poetry easily sticks to mind, (unlike plain prose text), like a "voice inside my head" (Gosh!). Just a type of memory, I guess.

There is also a story of professor Schlimann, the decipherer of ancient Egyptian and a polyglot, who could in a matter of weeks master a new language simply by reading the Odyssey by Homer in that new language (that he already knew by rote in original).

So, I believe there is something to poetry when learning a (foreign) language. Anyway, everyone needs to find his own way to victory :)
