This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

unable to study/add 嵊州

This word, 嵊州, is being skipped in the cram lists I'm studying and when I try to force-add it by loading it into Scratchpad, it doesn't work there either

The strokes for the character 嵊 have not been constructed in our database. When you try to study it, it goes to Jeremy so that he can cook it up. When he creates it, it will start appearing when you try to study it.
