Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

A couple of questions about the settings

1. What the heck is "Use Heisig keywords" ?

I turned it on for a little while, but didn't notice a difference.

2. What is the "Add word frequency" setting?

Mine is currently set at "from time to time". Is it asking me how often I add new words, or create new lists? If so, I add new words/characters almost every day

add word frequency, I think it's how often new words are added to your queue automatically...
