Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

差得远、 差的远、 差的元

I saw 差的元 as the example phrase for the character 元 on the HSK 1 card set. I have seen 差得远 but not the other two phrases in my subject line. Is this an error? I don't have enough knowledge of Chinese to determine if it's correct or not despite having done a search. Thanks!

Only 差得远 is correct. The other two don't make sense. 差一元 would be short of one yuan...
