How to see the translation when excercising reading?

Hi!
I was wondering how to be able to see the meaning of a character before you have answered when exercising writing. This would help me a lot, since sometimes you remember how a character is pronounced easier, when you get reminded of the meaning as well.

The reading prompt isn't intended to do that--you have to go straight from the character to the pronunciation. It's more similar to reading characters where you may not know what they mean. The tone prompts do include the definition, too, so if you don't like the lack of definitions on the reading prompts, you can turn them off, turn hidden pinyin on, and grade tone prompts as if they were asking for the pinyin, too.
