apostrophes in reading mode

jww1066   May 5th, 2011 1:08a.m.

Maybe this is a minor point. When in reading mode, if the reading contains an apostrophe (liang3 'an4 for example) the apostrophe appears on the right before I type anything. This gives a pretty big hint about the possible readings for whatever comes after the apostrophe.

http://www.pinyin.info/romanization/hanyu/apostrophes.html says apostrophes come only before a, o, or e, so that makes guessing the reading much easier, and even if you already kind of knew it it's still a big hint.

Anyway, if nobody is opposed I would suggest hiding it until the rest of the pinyin is shown.

I looked at doing the code for this, but it was actually going to be a major hassle given the way that code is already set up, so I deemed it not worth it for such a minor point.
