How do you turn a small list into a big list?

You're not being very clear here, but I'll answer as best I can.
Go to your Miscellaneous list, underneath the Study List option there is a button named Quick Add. You cannot do this with lists that other people created, though.

@Laspimon - I don't think that's what he was asking - he was asking for lists you create yourself, how to turn a small list (with no sections) into a big list (with multiple sections).

I have no idea, but I have never tried to do so...

You could always export your wrods from your small list, then add the exported words to a new big list.

In that case it would be on the same page as I mentioned before, but clicking Add Section:

A single-section list (small list) can only be turned into a multi-section list (big list) by admins. Which list would you like embiggened, bennyboyk?

bennyboyk   September 25th, 2012 8:46p.m.

blakomen is right, I wanted to turn a small list which I have created into a big list. I didn't realise there was a 200 word limit at the time.

Nick, list is called "Daily Life" if you wouldn't mind changing it.

Maybe this should be something users should have the ability to do. Not sure what the reason is of keeping it only available to admins.

nick   September 26th, 2012 1:08p.m.

It's done.

The reason it's admin-only is because we don't have a good interface for it.

Hi Nick can you please help me with the same problem? I have a list called "DZ 综合班" - also did not know about the 200 max. Thanks!!

I need to do the same in the near future. I want to do the following:
- create a new list with multiple sections
- click all items in my short list and selct "Add to List"
- select the section where I want to add it
- delete the short list
I think, in this way it should work - correct?

ljtobey   March 13th, 2013 11:36a.m.

Roland I just tried that and it worked perfectly! Thanks for the tip. Didn't see the "Add to List" feature before. Deleting the short list did not delete the entries in the big list's section, in case you were wondering.
