George and I (and our ladies) are going to take a trip to New York City to do some shooting for the final Skritter iOS app video on Saturday, March 17. We want to meet some Skritterers! If you're going to be around then, let's hear it. (We could hang out on the Sunday, too.)

We also want to film you using the app on our iOS devices, 'cause the video is more exciting when it's not just us. If you know any great places to get shots of mobile Skrittering, let us know. We definitely want to shoot on the subway, and just walking around the city. If anyone has access to a skyscraper window office with a nice view for a classic Skrittering-at-work shot, that'd be excellent. Let's get your pretty hands on camera!

Is that the videos that will be shot after the ios version is released ? :-)

Oh, I hadn't realized that it would be St. Patrick's Day! That'll be fun.

The video is a bit independent of the app launch date.

Don't forget the Apple Store on 5th Ave with the spectacular entrance.

On the Brooklyn Bridge, on the Roosevelt Island tram, on the Staten Island ferry going right by the Statue of Liberty, in a loud dance club, eating dim sum in Chinatown...

Hey Gerard--let's do it! Not totally sure of the schedule yet, as we've got a lot to do and several people to meet, but we're definitely wanting to shoot during the day on Saturday, so it'd be good to meet up then. Will let you know when we've planned further.

It is a bit far to travel all the way to NY from Shanghai! But good luck with the shooting!

Reminder of invitation to all Skritterers!

The plan is to do dim sum (tentatively at 10am) in Chinatown. There'll be George and I, our two ladies, Skritterer jww1066 and his lady, and any other interested Skritter users. We were thinking of doing it at the Golden Unicorn.

After that, it'll be time to go out and shoot Skritter in the city! We'll want to get shots of people using the app in iconic locations. We'll probably shoot most of the day; you're welcome to roam with us and get filmed with the app for as much of it as you like, and if you're interested in showing us places to shoot, that'd be awesome. Let me know and let's meet up!
