Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Skritter iOS App Crashes Immediately after launch

Hi guys, I downloaded the Skritter app today wanting to try it out but the app constantly crashes every time I tap log in and/or choose a list to start. I'm running it on a 32Gb iPhone 4S iOS 5.1.1 jailbroken. I heard a lot of good things about this app and really want to try it out. So, does anyone else have the same problem as me ?

It could be the recent trouble with the App store, I would suggest that you uninstall the app from your device, and re-install in from the App store, hopefully then your problem will be fixed ^^.

Its not just a problem with skritter, it is app store wide =).

I haven't singed up yet but I definitely will come end of the month. I love Skritter and want the full features.

I'm just afraid that it won't work on my iPhone. I manage to use it the other day, playing with the beginner's section and drawing a couple of characters but now it just crashes....

What list are you studying on? If you give us exact instructions we might be able to reproduce the bug and fix it. Have you tried reinstalling the app from the beginning, or using the demo with another list?

When I tap 'Choose list to start with' the app shuts down and the same happens when I tap 'Have an account? Log in'

What version of the app are you using--the 1.0.2 that has been in the App Store since June 19, or the 1.0.1 that was in the store from June 12-19?

It sounds like a problem with the jailbreak to me if it's crashing there.
