Hitting 'Enter' progressing without checking pinyin input

DRBean   August 31st, 2011 11:24a.m.

I haven't been on Skritter for a week or so. Everything worked then, same computer.

Now when I enter pinyin, I can't hit enter to check it, but have to click. Because it's pinyin, the 'show' shortcuts don't seem to work well, so it's not possible to just use the keyboard shortcuts.

Thanks for your help!

What browser and operating system is this, DRBean? I haven't changed anything and it seems to be working fine for me, in that I hit enter and it shows me the answer. Enter, space, or the up arrow should all do the trick.

For keyboard shortcuts with pinyin prompts, the left (back), right (next), up (show), and down (correct) arrow keys should be a good way to go. You can use those for all prompts, too, but they're especially handy for pinyin prompts.

Hmm, weird. Wasn't working all this morning, come back and here it is - had restarted the computer earlier, no difference, didn't restart now, but it works.

I'm using Google Chrome on Windows.

Thanks!
