Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

problem with dictionary lookup

When I click on the magnifying glass next to the word or character and click on "Look up", I get a 404 error as it's directing me to

http://www.skritter.com/[word or character here]

I think it happened because you haven't selected a dictionary and it's failing to select one by default for you. Should be fixed now, defaulting to good ol' nciku.
