Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

forum bug?

Hey, I thought it was something weird with the setup I had, maybe google chrome and the 256 mb of ram in my work desktop, but I just reproduced this bug here at home on my laptop:

If I type too much into a forum message(reply), it starts slowing down massively and the text appears on the screen in PowerPoint typewriter effect mode :)

It happened at the end of the last paragraph, now i am going slooooooowly.....

Yes, I've seen this before. For me it's much more common in Firefox.

The performance issue is in the code we use to make the post window resize to fit your input. I've updated that code and made it run once a second tops, so you shouldn't see a performance hit any more.
