Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

feeding character components into pleco

I've noticed that it is not possible to directly feed a character component to Pleco. For example, Skritter tells me that 给 is made up of 纟and 合. Unfortunatly, I can't click on either one for more information. I don't suppose it would make a difference if I upgrade my Pleco account?

It's just that we haven't set it up to download nested levels of the decomposition chain when you add new words, otherwise we'd be fetching, sending, and storing a ton of data. This unfortunate technical limitation prevents you from drilling down further in the decomps.
