Kanji text extractor?

Mattaisu   March 30th, 2013 12:50p.m.

Does anybody know how I could automatically extract all the kanji or individual words from a text? That would be without the particles and etc. It would be super cool for just learning how to read a certain texts before hand. Kind of what a language textbook does.

For example if we had the following text:

ジェシー
「まだよ、すぐ次の検知がはじまるわ。バレたらアウトよ!」
「でも、心配しないで。前の車両に順々にうつっていけば やりすごせるわ!」

Then the extracted kanji or words would be 次, 検知, 心配, 前, 車両, 順々.

Perhaps this could work both in Japanese and in Chinese?

A friend of mine is in the process of scripting a simple program that does exactly that. I'm not sure if there is something out there that can do this already?

Nice! Thanks for letting me know. At least I know I'm not the only one wanting to see this kind of program. I'll keep looking! And please let me know when your friend's program is ready^_^
