Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

profile word count vs actual

right now my profile says I have learned 1026 words but my personal progress says 1016.. not a big issue but why don't they match up? Thanks

Profile count is not actually telling the number of learnt character writings but the highest number of items learnt. It might be that you know more tones or meanings than writing, then that number is shown. At least that is the description I where given when i where having the the same question a year ago or so.
