Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Choosing many answers on polls

For the new poll, I think some of us might want to choose more than one answer! For me, I'm learning Chinese for fun but also for work. Plus I would have added an answer: surviving while living in China!

The polls will be simplest if there is one answer and 3-5 choices per poll, so we'll try to make them fit those guidelines more.
