Is there a way to add words and our own definitions when creating a list?

I can change the definition while reviewing but i haven't managed to add it directly in a list.

Yeah, there is. You have to save the list first, then click the word and edit the definition from the word popup. We have it like that because the interface and code would get too complicated to support editing definitions while also editing the list.
