Can't access new words

nzchin   March 25th, 2014 11:41a.m.

Hi there. Just renewed skitter after 2 year break but my old study words are showing in review despite the new textbook showing on my iPod lists suggesting new words should now be available. Any ideas?

Skritter thinks that those two year old words are really overdue, so it's showing them to you. Either study a lot to clear the backlog, or remove some lists (maybe re-add them later one by one) to decrease the backlog. Either way, you should decide how you want to handle the backlog. An SRS does not work with a constant huge backlog.

What DependableSkeleton said-- it looks like you have 400+ items in your queue to review first from old items studied before the new list you've added will start to add more words. Removing the old lists would work if you wanted to only study the new list and clear the queue.
