strokes too strict

fungsousa   April 11th, 2014 1:23a.m.

I don't recall having changed any settings on the website but today it seems that skritter is too strict on the strokes. whenever my stroke is slightly off, skritter marks the character as don't know and shows me the full character as if i'd press the "?" button. Have i changed anything in error?

Hey fungsousa, Skritter doesn't have a setting to make stroke recognition more strict. It only has a setting to make the order in which you write the strokes more strict. I don't believe the Flash code has been updated for any recognition changes either.

There are two other things it could be though.

1.) Your browser could be lagging just enough that things aren't getting written and recognized as smoothly.

2.) Many times it's just a mental thing. I can recall numerous times when I felt recognition was more strict, but it was really just how I rolled off the bed that day.
