Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Lag Spikes

Anyone else getting really bad lag spikes today? My internet connection seems to be just fine for everything else. Skritter is almost unusable because it's taking 2 minutes to load each item.

It was running slowly from about three and a half hours ago until about half an hour ago, but looks like it's settled down now. I'm not sure if what I did actually fixed it or if it fixed itself but I'll keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't act up again tonight. Sorry for the slow down!

Post mortem: looks like there was a general Google App Engine slow down for those three hours.

If anybody was diverted from practicing at all yesterday let me know and I'll credit your account a couple extra days!
