粉丝锅

Does anyone know how to translate 粉丝锅 (fensiguo) to English? I know 粉丝 and 锅, but the chef where I work wants to introduce this dish. For example 牛肉粉丝锅. Or is it just a 锅 of 粉丝? In that case still though, how would you translate that?

Maybe a translation would be hot pot ?

yeah that is what I meant with a 锅 of 粉丝. So then something like noodle hotpot or something? I wonder if there is an "official" translation.

My gf says there's no official translation and can't think of having seen any random English translation of 粉丝锅. I think you just have to improvise or call it what it is, 'Chinese vermicelli hotpot' / 'vermicelli hotpot'.

Check this, in Hawaii it's called long rice, 'long rice hotpot'?:)
