Is there an article on skritter about getting started (traditional Chinese)? Or, how to make the best use of my time using skritter?

I don't have a textbook at the moment, but I chose the characters from Chinese Odyssey to work on presently. I realize that the program does a lot of the organizational work for me, but what else should I be thinking about as I go about my studies from day to day.

In addition to Skritter, can anyone recommend some other sites (preferably free) for listening practice and easy reading practice. We will be moving to Taiwan at the end of May, so I just would like to prep myself as much as possible before arriving.

I'd also suggest asking the exact same question over at:
http://www.chinese-forums.com/

Where you'll likely have a short textbook written for you in a day or so!

Thanks for the links, all! That should keep me busy for a while.
