NPCR self study method. What is best approach.

Sandeep   September 4th, 2012 3:50a.m.

I am going through NPCR books on self study. I usually go through the text and exercises of a lesson first and then listen its audio. Then add the vocab to Skritter.
Is it the correct way of doing it?
Or should I first try to listen to audio and understand the dialogues and then read the chapter?

I study the NPCR as well and I feel that I am best off by first listen to the dialogue, then watch the video and finally start study the vocabulary. This gives me some context and it works for me. After I have learned all the vocab in skritter i go back and watch the videos again to get the patterns to sunk in. I guess it is highly individual what suits each person. In a way they do it this way at Chinesepod as well where you first get the dialogue and after that they start to break it down in components and explain it.

i somehow like the chinesepod approach: listen to a dialogue while its analyzed and explained ih the process.

then look at the vocabulary and add it to skritter for writing practice!
