Skritter won't work

I have been using Skritter for a while now on the trial period and i just bought the whole app. After i bought the app i stumbled upon a problem though. My app just freeze when i go to study, i can't write anything and there isn't anything popping up. I have chosen the book New Practical chinese reader.

Can you send a screenshot of the frozen app to nick@skritter.com, or describe more what the frozen screen looks like?

We have an app update in review now, so when that's approved, I would also try updating the app to see if it changes the behavior you are seeing. I know there are some hangs related to the iOS 8 upgrade that we've fixed in that new build.

Hi Nick, I've just updated to 2.6.0 and it seems I have the same problem as philipskov. With version 2.5.0 everything was working correctly.
When I enter the study page I read "what's the definition" but there isn't any character popping up. I will send you a picture of the screen.
I'm using an iPad 2 with iOS 8.0.2.
I've already tried to uninstall the app and install it again but the problem is the same.

Hi Guys, I just commented on another thread which would appear to be the same issue:
