Sentences: Segmenting

atdlouis   September 14th, 2013 4:12p.m.

I'm trying to add a sentence that has the phrase: "放大方点儿". Be a little generous. fang dafang dianer. But it's segmenting fangda together: fangda fang dianer. This has a completely different meaning.

I keep trying to segment differently by adjusting the pinyin, but it's not working. How do you manually segment the characters?

Never mind - segmenting happens in the sentence written in characters, with spaces indicating words.

Sorry to keep crowding the forum. I'd like to keep some sentences private. Is this possible?

It's not currently possible to keep sentences private, since they're added like words to Skritter's dictionary. However, if you add, for example, very long sentences, it may be that very few people will see them (or inadvertently recreate them). Is it because these sentences contain personal information?
