selecting items from within a list to study with scratchpad

Bohan   January 23rd, 2012 8:28a.m.

I just found out about this feature, which I like, except I'd like to be able to choose whether tracking is on or off. Currently when I select items and then go to "study with scratchpad" , all of the selected items appear ready to be studied, but without tracking on. I tried to find a way to make tracking start , but couldn't find a way to do it , while using this feature.

Nick, if there isn't already a way to do this, can you please make one ?

There's no way to do it at the moment, right. If you want to study the sub-items of a section in the scratchpad, but with progress tracking on, you could cram the section or remix it to have just those items and then cram the section.

remix it ? what does that mean ? I clicked the remix button but nothing seemed to happen.

Remixing a list makes a new copy of the list, so you could trim the copy down to what you want to study, and cram that list or its trimmed down sections.

oh okay, I just tried it out. It would be cool though, if you guys can make it so that other feature tracks progress. Even if there were no option, it would be much better if it tracked by default
