Items due

Is there maybe an issue with being off line for a longer period? In normal cases I do get some 200-300 items per day to review. Now when i check my coming days numbers I will this weekend have 950 items on Saturday and an additional 1300 on Sunday. I where off line a few days and did some massive amount of studying before syncing, can this affect the number of items due? Or, is this maybe an side effect of recalculating? Those high numbers I have never had before. This will be fun since I will climb mount Fuji Satuday night. Now I know what I have to do on the summit when watching the sun rise over Japan:-)

I have the same question. I practice all day on my iPhone offline and I got the due item pretty much down to zero. when I come home in the evening I would sync my iphone and then my ipad. The ipad would show 300 plus item due. I try clear local data and re-sync but it did not work. I am not sure if I should clear local data on the iphone because common sense tell me it should contain the latest info. Are there anyway to force the progress on iphone back to the web and then to ipad?

Working on an update to better indicate what's going on with the syncing and how much data needs to be sent to the site, and make sure all the data gets there absolutely correctly.

One thing you can check now to see how the data is on the phone vs the site is to go to account settings, and at the bottom click 'status' under 'data'. That will show you if things match with the site, and how much data is pending to be synced.

Recalculating progress stats and when items are due are completely independent from one another. What you describe shouldn't be due to the app, either. Does this regularly happen when studying offline?

This is the first time it happens like this. I have not added that many new words either so It should not be due to that. I have been on 97% retention since I last nuked. Well, I will just have to work my way through them. It is a long walk home from the summit so there is plenty of time to clear them.

I have the problem every evening when I come back from work. I don't think the info recorded in iphone during the offline practicing get synced back to the server properly but not really sure. when I start practicing on iPad the number of due item come down really quickly though. Sometimes 10-20 at a time.
