Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Not testing tones, but they show up as learned

Bug report: Whenever I try using the website for testing, the number of tones learned goes up on the progress chart. this is a bit weird because I always have the tone tests off.

If you are testing reading (pinyin) it includes the tones, so maybe that's how your pinyin is showing stats?

My reading is showing stats, because I am testing reading. but I believe the tones are rated as a completely seperate test.

Tones are rated as part of the reading tests when done on the website, yeah, since you have to know the tones to get the reading prompts right.
