Due items unter 80%

ErikHaze   September 23rd, 2012 6:58a.m.

Hello!

Usually Skritter only offers characters that are due above 100%. But when you learned all character that have to been reviewed, and you number of items to be reviewed is close to 0, Skritter also let's me learn characters that are due to 90% or 80%.

However, for 3 days now, something changed. I always get characters to learn that are due 70% or 80%, although I just began to learn. The numer of items to review is close to 100. So I expect to learn characters that are due 500% etc. But I get so many characters that I shouldn't learn yet at that moment.

Here is an example:
http://imageshack.us/a/img525/498/screenshot20120923at130.png

Character is due to 76%, although I have 35 character to review (a lot of them over 100%). It's the same case if I have to review about 100 characters. The queue is filled up with characters that I shouldn't learn.

Is it a bug, or do I do something wrong?

Thank you.

Hi liverix--it does sound like a bug. When you next see this, can you look at My Words, sorting by next, and see if there are some words in there which are due but aren't coming up when studying? That might help us narrow it down.

We uploaded many site changes on Friday, so if this started happening then, it's probably something we broke.

I have the feeling the problem has been partly solved? I don't have the severe problems with 60% due items anymore. However, I upload another example, don't know if it's normal randomness. 88% due but 32 items to review. According to the words list I should learn it in 29 minutes.

Hmm. When you see the < 100% due items coming up, what does My Words say about the first items, the ones which are due now--and do you then see those items shortly afterward in study, or do they continue to be skipped?

ErikHaze   September 24th, 2012 7:59p.m.

It says "Ready". And I think they are not skipped, but mixed into the non-due items.
But I think the problem is solved. I didn't have the problem today. When the problem will occur again, I will provide more screenshots and a comprehensive report.

Thank you very much for your help!
