Time before repeated review after vacation

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I wasn't sure how to phrase the search (or the subject of this post). When I haven't been able to study for a while, and come back to say several hundred/thousand reviews, I feel like I don't see any of the words I get wrong until I've worked through the entire thousand reviews at least. If I mark them as "not-sure" after several weeks of not studying, then I won't see them for another few weeks. Maybe I'm just being paranoid that I'll forget them before then, but is general best practice better to mark any that you are unsure of in a long queue as just "wrong" so hopefully you'll see it again sooner to reinforce what you've forgotten after a break?

best practice is regular practice. if you do that there will be no overwhelming number of reviews waiting for you.

if it does hapen that you really are overwhelmed you can go to >my words >save me (the button on the left side).

i wouldnt think too much about what happends if you press which button (1= forgot or the others for remember. be honest to yourself and i am sure the system will bing up the words again and agai as long as you dont press the "remember" button 10 times.

good luck!

Try studying just one list or part at a time, until you get it under control. Then move on to another.

If you want to be paranoid, you can mark them wrong, but you'll do more work. If you want to be more time-efficient, then you can mark them so-so and see them again in a few weeks, saving your short-term efforts for the ones you've really forgotten during your absence.

Thanks for the tips and encouragement, guys! I guess I'll just trust the algorithm for now heh.
