Wacom problems with Chrome but not with Firefox

monte   July 16th, 2013 9:17a.m.

Hello,

I have some serious delay in my pointer movement as soon as I enter the Flash input area. Strangely it first appeared after I got a new bigger screen for my Windows 7 machine. However, I just installed Firefox to cross check and the problem seems to be only with Google Chromes Flash implementation.

I use Wacom Bamboo as my only input device and have the settings adjusted to the Skritter recommendations.

Does anyone have similar problems or some ideas.

It would be great if could avoid the Adobe Flash implementation. (Well, no Flash at all would be even greater)

Greetings
monte

Is the "Use Wacom plugin" option enabled in your Skritter study session settings? (Found in the grey gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the study window screen). You could also try deleting and reinstalling the Wacom drivers, that may fix it.

It might help to double check the settings once more on:

(although it sounds like you already have).

Yes, the "Use Wacom plugin" option is enabled.

Also on my Mac I don't have any issues.

Chrome on Mac + Wacom Bamboo Fun => Works well
Chrome on Win7 + Wacom Bamboo Pen => Delayed curser in Flash
Firefox on Win7 + Wacom Bamboo Pen => Works well

I reinstalled the newest driver on WIn7 already. I will double check the settings. The pen works well until I enter the flash painting area.

Well, now it is working again. Maybe Chrome did a flash update.
