Buying a writing tablet in China

pprendeville   November 2nd, 2013 7:09a.m.

Anyone know of any writing tablets in China (preferably on taobao)?

just saw the writin input review (http://www.skritter.cn/input-review?from=professor) and it looms like quality over price would be better so hopefully I can pick up a Wacom here.

If you just do a quick search on Taobao, lots of options will come up.

A reasonably priced Wacom Bamboo: Wacom手绘板 数位板 bamboo ctl471

I got what I thought was a Bamboo but it's a Wacom One CTL-671. I have never used a writing tablet before but this seems impossible to use. It's way too big for my needs as well. Will any of the Bamboo stylus pens work with an iPad?

Bamboo is a sub brand or product family name for Wacom's tablet peripherals, as far as I understand. Based on the Wacom Bamboo tablet that I use, the related stylus is not going to work on any touch screen. However, perhaps confusingly, Wacom also sells a "Bamboo" "stylus pen" for touch screen devices like the iPad. I have one and it's quality is quite good. Skritter did a review of various styli some time back and the Bamboo came out okay, but not great for the price. If I see that Cosmonaut one at a better price I will probably buy it.
