Custom sentences

Hi guys,

Have you considered adding an option for users to put in their own sentences? Often when a sentence is unavailable through Skritter, nciku has several. It would be nice to copy and paste sentences from other sources into skritter.

thanks,

Paul

You can already do this, just paste it into the bottom of the custom definitions field!

Yes--until we do another round of upgrades on the example sentences (probably to interface with Tatoeba, where you would create the sentences), Byzanti's solution is a good one.

Tatoeba(例えば)means "for example" in Japanese,
just throwing that out there :P (probably knew already)

if and when skritter interfaces with 例えば、would there then also be japanese sentence support on Skritter? Just anxious curiosity!

Yup, that's the plan. Not soon, though. Sentences are more work than I had predicted.
