Automatic Stroke Order button on Android but not iOS?

simond250   October 16th, 2014 8:57p.m.

Hi all,

I got a new iPhone so I switched from Skritter on Android to iOS. While I prefer the iOS version a lot more, I can't find an option to turn on the automatic stroke drawing order (so you draw over a stroke it shows, then the next one appears automatically).

I really like this feature and prefer it to tapping the screen each time to reveal one stroke, I feel it was helping me learn new characters I had never seen before a lot faster.

On Android there's a button that turns this option on. Just wondering if on iOS it's somewhere in the settings or some sort of gesture shortcut?

Thanks for your help. Loving Skritter so far!

That feature is new to the new Android version. If it gets a lot of love there, we may port it to the other clients, too, but currently it's Android-only.

Great, fingers crossed then!

I would enforce the adoption of this feature, too. I am a much bigger iOS user but found this feature a pleasant surprise. Well done.

I'musing iOS exclusively and this feature would help a lot with new characters
