What about the pinyin ?

Tortue   February 10th, 2009 10:51a.m.

I won't surprise anyone by saying that Skritter is a very efficient tools, I've learnt more in the 3 last week that the past 3 month ! I realize that I can read more and more stuffs in street (I live in HK) even I do not always understand the meaning (especially because sometime is not Mandarin).

I realized also that I sometime recognize the chars meaning but I can't remember how to pronunce it. Is it possible to include in the learning process the pinyin ? (i.e Skritter shows the char and we have to write it in pinyin).

Thank in advance !

Yup! Pinyin and definition practice are being built. They won't be included in the rearchitecturization right away, but it's mostly done. We've just got to put together the typing-it-in part.

Actually, that'll be a lot of work, so it's probably several weeks further off. The backend stuff is the lion's chunk, though, and that's done.

It's going to be really good!

I can't wait for these new features to be in place because I'm having the exact same problem as you Tortue.
