Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

repeat entries

Hey guys, not sure if this was answered already, I did a search and couldn't find anything. If you enter a custom vocabulary word, and then later go back and enter it again on accident. What happens? Does that mess things up? Like create a double entry?

Nope! The system is very much built to prevent double learning, especially when learning both simplified and traditional. Words added a second time either through the queue or adding from a list have no effect on your studies.

It might be nice to find out when we try to add a word that we are already learning it...perhaps a message could alert us to that fact? It would be super cool if the message could automatically tell us our current stats on studying it as well.

I've often thought a notification of duplicates would be useful as well, probably at the time you hit the Validate button. It's a little strange to add a bunch of items, check the Browse tab, and not see them there. At this point I understand what is going on, but this is probably something that will continue to confuse newcomers.

Good point. Yeah, differentiating already added and not yet added in that widget has come to mind so as to make it more understandable, but time has not yet presented itself to do it. Perhaps I'll do that while I'm revamping it to work with the custom lists. Either way, it's on the to do list!
