Email Progress Reminders overlapping

FatDragon   May 16th, 2011 9:26a.m.

Whenever I get my emailed progress reminders, it calculates my time studied for three and a half days rather than three days. This seems to be due to my time zone - by the time it's sent I'm already halfway through the next day. This makes things a bit weird, since I'll study for an hour a day for six days and I'll get two progress reminders covering that period that add up to 7 hours of study.

My most recent one read "you have studied x hours and y minutes in three days from 5/13-5/16." Considering that I was already halfway through 5/16 by the time it was sent, maybe it should just be restricted to a total of three days (midnight to midnight, or 4 AM to 4 AM, as I believe you guys do it).

It's not really a big deal, but if it's easy to fix, it might be worth it, since it can get a bit confusing.

Where can I click to allow Skritter to send me emails about my progress? Haven't found this option.

@Elwin, it's on the main page. Look under tools (just below the poll) and click on 'Reminders'.

I'll try a slight tweak to the code to see if it produces something better.
