Is HTC Flyer the perfect Skritter experience?

Tablet + Pen, does it equal Skritter awesomeness?

I don't know, after reading the thread about everybody wearing through their Wacoms I'm afraid I might get electrocuted. I've been eagerly awaiting this product, but the last paragraph says it all; I'll probably wait a bit for lower price and better software. It was a really interesting review though. Especially the discussion of Android 3.0 not being a compelling reason to avoid earlier versions.

I would like to try Skritter on it if I saw it on display in a shop.

Last week the Acer Iconia A500 with the dual core Tegra 2 CPU has been released down in Australia here and I've tried it at 3 different shops. Turns out it does not come installed with flash, and apparently you'll have to wait until Android 3.1 is supported on the device until flash works - dodgy.
So the message is to stay away from Android 3.0 for the time being.

Let us know if you get to try it out - until then i'm still waiting for the ideal skritter tab...

Neil, it's probably that you need to install flash from the Android marketplace before you can use it...

wearing through a waccom ?
seriously ? Isn't the nib supposed to wear out first ?
You can get overlays (more for intuos )
see
http://www.wacom.com.au/previous/intuos2/hard/tablet05.html

You can install flash Neil just need to download it as Byzanti said.

Have used skritter on my windows tablet (old fujitsu st5011) from 2004.
Its good , not as good as on a waccom (I use a bamboo at work and intuos gd at home)

The problem is the surface (glass composite ??) is a bit to slick and you get less feedback - have to take an extra bit of time to slow down and control your strokes more due to the lack of friction

Great for on the go / on public transport.
